Infants and Toddlers in Worship
Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in worship, including infants and toddlers whose joyful sounds are a blessing to the congregation.
We love the sound of their joyous participation. We also know that having a noisy child in church with you can be stressful as you worry if they are bothering others. For families who need a space for movement, play, or a quiet moment, the Guild Room is available just steps from the church. Located on the left side of the church when facing the altar, it offers comfortable seating, a changing table, a safe play area, child-friendly toys, a kitchenette, and a live-stream of the worship service so participation can continue while attending to a child's needs.
The Guild Room is located on the left side of the church when facing the altar. Two doors, each leading through a short hallway, provide access to the space.
Guild Room
The Guild Room is available during all worship services. Located adjacent to the church, this comfortable space includes a kitchenette, restrooms, a play area, a changing table, and ample seating.
The worship service is broadcast on a television in the room, allowing continued participation in the liturgy while making use of the space and its amenities.
Church Buddies
Creative options are available for children in worship, recognizing that sitting still and quiet for an entire service can be challenging.
In the church entryway, a basket of stuffed animals and a shelf stocked with clipboards and coloring supplies are available for use during worship. Children are welcome to bring any of these items to their seats to help them engage comfortably in the service.
At the conclusion of worship, these items should be returned to the entryway for future use.
