Church Has Never Been My Thing

I’m just checking it out.
We totally get that. There are many different reasons for wanting to attend church for the first time. Some want to become closer to God, and some are seeking community, while others are drawn to God through rituals and symbols. Maybe you’re thinking about attending to please a partner, or you think church is important for your kids.

Church Used To Be My Thing

I’m thinking about coming back.
There are many reasons why people make their way back to church. Some didn't intentionally quit; it just wasn’t a priority. Some were really let down by the church; while others felt they no longer fit their church.
When you think about returning, you might be: excited, nervous, hopeful, timid, fearful, suspicious . . . There are many valid feelings. We welcome the opportunity to meet you where you are on your faith journey.

Church Is My Thing

I’m looking for a new one.
We might be a good fit if you are new to Beaumont; trying to make new friends; or starting a new chapter of your spiritual life.

About Our Worship

Our worship service uses more contemporary language and features our talented organist.

Worship in the Episcopal Church follows a Liturgy​. Liturgies are listed in the Book of Common Prayer.  We are traditional in that we kneel for prayers and sing hymns from the hymnal. We are also non-traditional, in that we encourage the worshiper to participate in ways that are comfortable for them, whether that means bowing, standing, praying, making the sign of the cross, or just sitting.  We prefer to meet you just where you are and offer a loving environment where you can feel God's presence.

Attire

We encourage you to dress in attire that makes you feel comfortable. Look glamorous. Look casual. Come from the night shift in your Nomex. We just want YOU with US.

Parking

There are two main parking areas, one close to the church entrance and the other close to Broce Hall  (our parish hall). A few spaces are located near Delaware around the church office.
