Common Mission

• We understand that common mission is the core of our life in Christ.
• We are committed to our Baptismal vows to “seek and serve Christ in all persons” and “strive for justice and peace among all and respect the dignity of every human.”
• We see our community and the world as God’s own and seek to uplift all that is within our ability by helping those in need through stable committed action, flexible reaching out, and visionary involvement in the root causes of social dysfunction.  

We activate the common mission through four main areas:

-Some Other Place
-Ubi Caritas

-Saturdays of Service
-Service Sundays
-Community fundraisers
-Books and a Bear

-Neighborhood connection
-Seeking out deep needs
-Global Issues: trafficking, violence, healthcare, etc.
-Raising leaders to seek solutions
