For the early risers who prefer a traditional and serene service. This service uses a more formal and traditional language for Holy Eucharist (Communion or the Lord’s Supper). Wednesday Evening Service
We offer a brief service (Rite II) at 5:30 pm. It lasts approximately 30 minutes and includes Eucharist (Holy Communion). If you work on Sundays or need a mid-week pick-me-up, this is the service for you. Worship in the Episcopal Church follows a Liturgy. Liturgies are listed in the Book of Common Prayer. We are traditional in that we kneel for prayers and sing hymns from the hymnal. We are also non-traditional, in that we encourage the worshiper to participate in ways that are comfortable for him or her, whether that means bowing, standing, praying, making the sign of the cross, singing, or just sitting. We prefer to meet you just where you are and offer a loving environment where you can feel God's presence. If you are new to a service like this and would like some help, feel free to ask a greeter or usher who will sit with you and help you through the service. A typical Sunday looks like this.
