St. Stephens is pleased to offer several options for Adult Education. Here is a list including where on the website you can find more information about each opportunity. For our “Wednesday Night Live” events please see the section under “Fellowship.” An “Education for Ministry (EFM)” group meets regularly at St. Stephens, see below for more information. From 9AM to 10AM on Sundays, there are usually several groups or lectures available. A Women’s Bible Study group meets on Wednesday mornings at Broce Hall, please see below for more information

Education for Ministry (EFM) – EFM is a four-year course of study in theological bible study and reflection for lay persons. The seminar group is the nucleus of the EFM program. A group consists of six to twelve participants and a trained mentor meeting weekly over the course of a nine- month academic year. These meetings are usually two and half to three hours in length. Through study, prayer, and reflection, EFM groups move toward a new understanding of the fullness of God's kingdom. Contact: Jim Johnson.
